杨天燕，女，湖北武汉人，博士，高级工程师，硕士生导师。毕业于中国海洋大学水产学院渔业资源专业，主要从事鱼类种质资源、种群遗传学研究。承担海洋污染生态学、渔业管理学、渔业生态学、渔业资源增殖与放流技术等课程的讲授。先后主持农业部行业标准制定项目、农业部资源环境情况调查专项、省自然科学基金、省属高校基本科研业务费项目、农业部重点实验室开放课题等多项科研项目，作为主要成员参与国家自然科学基金、科技部科技基础性工作专项等项目十余项。系统地开展了龙头鱼、少鳞鱚、青鳞小沙丁鱼、带鱼、鲻科鱼类及新疆土著鱼类形态学和群体遗传学研究。获得中国水产科学研究院科技进步奖三等奖、新疆维吾尔自治区自然科学优秀学术论文三等奖、新疆动物学会优秀论文奖、新疆水产学会优秀论文奖，发表学术论文80余篇，其中SCI收录20余篇，主持制定水产行业标准1项、参与水产行业标准2项，授权发明专利2项。指导本科生参加国家级大学生创新创业训练计划1项、浙江省大学生科技创新活动计划（新苗人才计划）2项、校级大学生创新训练计划项目3项、指导本科生获得浙江省大学生生命科学竞赛三等奖1项。
